If it's the same as last year (and the mock up photos of the new site look very similar) stages one and two are close to each other and do not play at the same time. Other smaller stages will be playing when the headliners are on stage one, but there will be nobody on stage two.

Oh yeah I get that but they won't be unopposed - there will be plenty of people at other stages elsewhere

Yeah, agreed. It would be silly to have the headliners playing in isolation. I'm sure there will be a few annoying clashes.

Don't know for Mad Cool, but I'm sure they love them at Primavera. But you have to wear flip-flops.

So far the website is hardly informative beyond the line-up. So the answer to all practical questions is: 'they' (some guy(s) supposedly from within Mad Cool, acting as Bar Tool on a Spanish festival forum) promised more info about the terrain, transport etc. soon after the line-up is complete. Which could be as soon as next week.

Most likely you will be able to get/smuggle a flag in, but not a pole or a stick for safety reasons. Based on the policy of lots of events.

I just booked this festival for the whole weekend in July, can't wait, going alone which isn't actually a concern for me at all really, though it would be nice to socialise while out there. 

Just wondering if anyone had any good info or advice about where to stay in terms of hotels/hostels with good transport links to the new site. Probably looking to book all those aspects tomorrow ideally. Prices still pretty reasonable to book both as it stands and get those important details out of the way.

Also I see London Grammar are in Europe both the week before and after the cluster of festivals that is Mad Cool/NOS/BBK, surprised to see they aren't announced for any yet. Actually BBK seem to be doing well at being quite unique to the other two with the likes of NG/Gorillaz/XX/Chems. I would love to see London Grammar added though that would be the icing on the heavily frosted cake!

Today is the day they are going to post a hint on twitter/instagram for Arctic Monkeys if both Opener and Best Kept Secret’s announcement on January 29 for a headliner is Arctic Monkeys as well.

In the PS thread someone who proved he's connected to bassist Nick O'Malleys claimed they will be announced tomorrow in several places, including Barcelona and other teased destinations. Seems like he was right, so the Mad Cool/NOS Alive guys will have to remain patient.

I think if a major headliner is making tour announcements with a bunch of other festivals they’d make an exception on the day. It is a little bizarre they changed the teaser clue, but have no reason to think anything has changed. I suppose it’s possible Mad Cool has a contract clause to wait on the announcement until after Primavera and with the festival already being mostly sold out there’s no major rush.

We just don't know anymore. No teaser today could mean several things: no AM at all, no AM tomorrow, just no tease as they have teased enough. 

Maybe you get the Rolling Stones in return... 

I may hope people did not buy tickets for festivals like Mad Cool only because of the AM rumours, but rather for the whole experience.

I think all the other headliners (except maybe Jack White) would probably put on a better show than AM anyway...

It depends on the scope of festival announcements tomorrow, and they might delay it to prevent the clash with Primavera, but now it's clear that Mad Cool has spread rumors (via Bar Tool) and allegedly leaked the news of AM to deal with them performing at Primavera.

I think he said 'around' the end of the month to be honest, but I couldnt be wrong... so I wouldn't be surprised if the full poster isn't out by Wednesday, butit should all be out fairly soon.

I'm choosing to believe we've got AM until there's another band next to Jack White after that 0114 post... but if it's 7-8 festivals rather than 3-4 tomorrow it's going to test me

Surely they've already put up one hint, before the Jack White announcement. You might worry that they completely missed the 0114 link to AM, which is why they swapped it, but given the Ten = Pearl Jam link, that seems unlikely. More like they put up what they thought was a hint, but was a bit too obvious, so they took it down, and maybe got told off for being too obvious, so no more pre-hints.
