Just curious to know what is your favourite song. For me, its always and always - November Rain.

Like a Prayer - Madonna. Probably due to the time in my life it was out and associated memories as much as the song itself. Close 2nd is guns 'n' roses Don't Cry.

I have several favourites, depending on genre and mood.

favourite upbeat rock my socks off one - it's a Long Way to the Top - AC/DC

favourite pick yourself off the floor one - Hold Your Head Up - Argent.

favourite singer songwriter type - The Queen and the Soldier or Straight Lines - Suzanne Vega.

favourite relationship one - Keep on Loving You - REO Speedwagon.

Loads more - temptation ones, conflict ones etc.

I'm a tad obsessive - why have one when you can have them all.

it's why I don't have tattoos. I'd never stop.

And this one - kept me occupied for ages trying to work out who dunnit.

Classic murder mystery with town outcast anti hero thrown in - always got a soft spot for them.

Got a tragic ending too - he cuts off his hair.

Ooh I love that song too but wouldn' make my top 10. Though any given day that top 10 would change.

This version of this track by the band James (see below). It helps to watch the footage as well, although it's really not essential to do so, in order to get 'carried off' in to another state of consciousness. Well, that's what it does to me, without fail.

The killing moon by Echo and the Bunnymen. There's something about it that's magical. I remember hearing it on the Donnie Darko soundtrack as a teenager and becoming obsessed with it. Think it must be the gloomy lyrics ?
