It does say in the email you need to arrive with your guest, so suggests there must be something like a wristband or a holding pen or early access to the arena...or actually more likely that you get your tickets and are escorted to a queue to wait for it to open.

you cant take away with or go off as could tout them.you queue till stadium opens at 3 ,show them an id ,card ,then escorted in and cant come out again till finish or wont be allowed back in.

They never enforce the ‘escorted in’ rule with these lucky dips. Folk will be fine picking them up and then heading to the pub if they like

REALLY ......so not bothered about touts then

Nar. If it was an arena show they may have enforced it but they won’t do it for a stadium gig. There won’t even be enough staff to escort hundreds of people to their seats or to the standing area. They just want to sell as many as possible at this late stage and won’t adhere to the terms word for word. They didn’t for Dublin and they won’t today I’m sure

Why would the be bothered, touts would have got full price tickets at £100+ when first on-sale, you can now get for £30, so shows the tickets are not selling well.  Why would a tout risk buying more tickets for £30 and then not selling them....

Also - if you had the option of buying from a tout at £30, or buying direct from the venue for £30, what one would you go for ?

I do agree - the touts must be pulling their hair out wondering how to get rid of them.

I was at the Led Zeppelin concert at Knebworth in 1979 - there was touts every where - not sure how much they were after but my mate and I took great delight in letting the Buyers know that if they kept on walking they could buy face value tickets at the box office - you should have seen the touts faces they were well pissed off with us and I am sure they struck us off their Christmas Card list - they kept moving further away but we kept following them - at one point they offered us money to go away - told them they could stuff it.

trouble is some may not of had cash or saw lucky dips were on so touts will sell you know they will thats why there is such a problem with touts and why they make it a profitable business

do you get a choice and was there huge queues and did you have to go in straight away

Nah, they ask for your name, then your id and give you a sealed envelope and say good luck.  We got there about 4.30 and there wasn’t any queue.

Did you sense your chosen seats were pre-determined/linked to your name or were they assigning seats linked to the time you arrive?
