If you’re expecting Rolling Stones and U2 then you’re going to be sorely disapppinted.

The Who meant to be playing a few festivals. The clue TRNSMT dropped highlighted the word ‘WHO’ whether that means anything and they did that design that looked like AM and Arctic Monkeys played. 

No one knows (no QOTSA pun intended) but an older and established headliner playing Scotland with a UK, IoW date could be what’s happening. Them, Catfish and Biffy could be very good.

for a festival that’s only going into its third year would it be wise of them to book a headliner they’ve already had before? i know they’re huge in scotland but TRNSMT has a huge pool of headliners that have never played before it would seem a bit silly to book one that’s already played, can see them playing Hampden Park on their tour instead

Who could they ask that hasn’t played before that’s available? They have ran out of options to be honest.

trying to remember who @Mezhyp1 has ruled out but i believe the current pool of headliners is:

Florence, Catfish, Elton John, The Prodigy, Rod Stewart, Bon Jovi, Eagles, Madness, Red Hot Chili Peppers, QOTSA, The Specials, Snow Patrol, Stormzy, Tame Impala

sure there’s probably more that are slipping my mind and some in there that probably couldn’t headkine (Madness) also looking back through the thread The Who have been ruled out
