I think you're right, at first I wasn't too sure if you were just trolling the message board but you have been 100% spot on, for that I apologise about my doubts. I think that I'm going to do this instead & maybe TRNSMT if the lineup wows me but I don't think it will.

Raconteurs, Interpol and The Strokes!! 3 excellent bands that I'd love to see at TRNSMT but not sure it's that type of festival already, even in its infancy.

I can picture the Raconteurs not getting that big a crowd either if they played TRNSMT, despite having Jack White. I'd much rather see the Raconteurs at a show like APE or their own small show in Scotland.

Would love something like that Strokes day, hell even the Chemical Bros day. If Snow Patrol are headlining I'd imagine we'll get some sort of indication at their hydro show this week.

Chemical brothers day is amazing, no chance TRNSMT would do something like that, I’m not holding out for anything other than the usual acts being served up

I reckon it could, lots of similar style acts. Names that people would jump all over in an old TITP environment

Supposed Kendal Calling line up, not bad either.

If it would sell out why wouldn't they book them all? Courteeners & Gerry would shift tickets obvsiously but you're talking 50k tickets selling in a day which obviosuly woudln't happen.

reckon it would probably sell out eventually but not in a day, bare in mind the line this year literally had courteeners, gerry, with liam gallagher and that didn't sell out in a day.

He basically is taking away the main selling point of last year's saturday (LG) and saying it would sell out in a day which is mental. 50k tickets for anyone at TRNSMT aren't going in one day.

to be fair i think arctic monkeys day went pretty quick, not sure exactly how long but i think day tickets went in a couple of days.

You could get day tickets for AM right up to the day pretty much. They initially took them off to try shift weekend tickets. LG sold out I think tho.

Aye, AM sold out initially but when extra tickets went on sale, they never shifted them all.
