Just playing. But all of his releases have been pretty well received haven't they? I've definitely seen more strong reviews for his stuff than I have Travis Scott (who I much prefer btw) so I don't think it feeds into your point.

Bit of perspective on Primavera's disappointing big names. The first two names for Glastonbury and Stomzy and Kylie. About as underwhelming as it gets.

and yet both far better than Future, Cardi B and J Balvin.

 

Stormzy is one of the biggest acts in the UK and fits in with the festival's social outlook, and Kylie is playing the afternoon legends slot.

Obviously it's personal tastes but I'd rather have Erykah Badu, Tame Impala, Janelle Monae, Interpol or Solange than either of them.

missed most of their show at 2016 since they clashed with Car Seat Headrest, but the few songs I heard were great.

 

Also, the biggest new discovery for me so far on the lineup is Cybortron. They're a bit funkier version of Kraftwerk, really love them

Interesting new approach not changing the price at the same time as the lineup. I wonder if this will coincide with them announcing something like new stage or change to the layout.

A couple more in I'd have thought, a few cancellations. Then 6 decent names for Hidden.

after announcement of line up it would be smarter thing to decrease price of tickets but lets see where they are going.....looks like doctor music is going to have best line up for next year

Thought Doctor Music was piss-poor personally.  A few good things, but generally weak, assuming more names to come are similar.

of course not everthing,  but these days critically aclaimed dosent mean anything is just arbitrary label often paid for it or made in marketing purposes or some others, Theodore Strugeon law says 90 percent of everything is crap and that can be said completly for everyting that is  today called  critically aclaimed

Primavera Pro lineup too, which consists on lesser known bands from selected countries.
