Hmm I dunno if this is a good idea. Very reminiscent of ATP,  could end up spreading themselves far too thing. London festivals already aren't selling well and adding another big festival with a similar line up to the mix is dangerous

I guess it will not be a sister festival to Barca & Porto.

Maybe some kind of winter indoor festival like Pitchfork Paris?

Yeh I assume so, similar to what they're doing in Benidorm I imagine.

The 1pm gigs are pretty easy to get into. Hatchie was still fairly empty 30 minutes before the start

1. Fka twigs ( own this year edition )
2. Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks ( guy still rocks)
3. Apparat ( on the border with spiritual expirence)
4. Interpol ( thyt sounded great but concert was way too short)
5. Shonen knife ( rock n roll ! Had smile on my face during whole gig )

Also The Comet is Coming sounded great but your secret henenken stage is pure shithole,  it smelled so bad I thiught I was gonna puke...no ventilation inside and smell is bioweapon

But FKA Twigs is in a league of her own. Amazing set, hipnotizing.

I had an amazing time yesterday, so many great concerts, FKA twigs was indeed out of this world, will definitely be in the top 3 performances of this festival. Also the auditori shows were all fantastic, especially Apparat, but loved The Necks and Bridget St. John too. Guided by Voices were great, was really looking forward to them and they absolutely rocked.

Agreed completely about the Heineken stage, Comet is Coming put on a good show but it was difficult to get in and there was just no air there, maybe would have been better if it remained an outdoor stage...

Yeah  it sure would be better I dont get why have they moved it into that tent or whatever that was... at least now I know where to go if some band clash with hidden stage..will miss piroshka

I was actually a bit disappointed with Big Thief. The big stage didn't do them justice.

FKA Twigs, Janelle Monae, Sons of Kemet, Lucy Dacus, Jungle

Oh I was superhappy with Big Thief,  standout gig for me by far! Though I was at the front row, that may have made a difference.
