That united v Chelsea game could decide 4th. I would imagine the scousers will beat your lot and City will beat united.

For me Arsenal won’t get enough points.

You're probably right but last time Liverpool mounted a title challenge Chelsea had some fun with it so we will see. Agreed on Arsenal though they do have an easier run in, I believe.

Easier in terms of opponents. Not easier in terms of locations considering our away form is so terrible

I think Chelseas scheduling will be their downfall in regards to the Liverpool game. Playing tonight, Thursday and then Sunday is too much, otherwise I would fancy Chelsea to get something at Anfield.

Hazard is a ridiculously talented player when he wants to be. Downed tools a few times though and that why David Silva has been the best player in the premier league over the last 6 or 7 seasons. The talent on Hazard though is absolutely sublime. What a footballer, truly gifted.

2-0 Liverpool but far from comfortable. Need an early goal next week in Portugal I reckon. Other way around and it could become horrible.

Spurs winning makes it VERY interesting. I have a feeling they’ll lose both games at the Etihad though.

Liverpool were definitely trying to make sure they kept a clean sheet, didn't push for that extra goal. Professional but I would be been much more comfortable with 3-0.

Fair play to spurs! Didn't watch it but definitely makes the run in for both comps very interesting!

2-0 Is fine. Liverpool will.more than likely reach the semis now

Spurs will lose 2-1 but through to the semis on away goals rules:-)

Leeds will kill me this season!

still think we will fall short, probably 3rd on goal difference then out to villa in the playoffs, then back to the usual 12th place finishes and the world will be restored.

I watched Bristol City V West Brom last night, really good game. I must admit championship football is far more entertaining than what the premier league offer.

i feel all the playoff teams look stronger than us or Sheff utd at the moment, it will be whoever stumbles into 2nd then the 3rd place team will get stuffed in the playoffs.

Hopefully it’s Leeds.

In all seriousness would like Leeds back in the premier league, miss  those games. Leeds and united games were always the games to get he juices going.

Championship football reminds me of the premier league 15 years ago. Fast, ferocious, end to end and great wing play.

Easty with a casual click through lastminute.com.

Just don't get Pep. Even at Bayern his knockout stage selections and tactics left something to be desired. He did the same last year at Anfield with a totally baffling team selection which played right into Liverpools hand.

His lack of respect for Spurs last night was astounding. Play your best team, put the game to bed and then rest your best players. He thought he could put that team out, rest some key players and still get a result. I understand the game management thing and lets be honest, it nearly worked for him last night. But nearly is not good enough. Spurs were pretty poor, especially in their first big game in their new stadium, they were there for the taking.

You would still fancy City to go through at home but why make life difficult for yourself? Strange thing is Pep seems happy with the result and the performance.

I saw it doing the rounds last night that he hasn't won a quarter or semi since 2011. With his reputation and world class players at Barca, Bayern and City you'd expect better. I imagine they will come out firing in both the Prem and CL game, winning both.

Just now, The Nal said:

Barca haven't won any of their last 6 away knockout CL games (3 seasons) , only scoring 1 goal in those 6 games.

Messi free kick incoming.
