I’m in Cumbria for a weeks pre festival drinking practice.

Theres a large yellow thing in the sky and the ground is covered in this green grass like stuff.

Its nice but it will never last. See you in those muddy fields.

Just had a look on Metcheck. It looks showery on Thursday and Saturday....dry on other days.

Festiweather says dry throughout.

It's been like Tenerife here for weeks. That's the first rain of any note (and it was still a bit shit) since about April ?

According to the BBC.........the temperature in the fields is to hit 20 every single day up to and including the festival. 

Surely.....we are NOT looking at a mud bath 

I remember last year the constant rain in the weeks before meant we had no chance. This looks different.

Last year was weird, had a load of rain beforehand and then rain during the nights which muddied everywhere up, but I don't remember that much rain during the day, and wore shorts/t-shirt for most of it.

I also went in 2014 and that was mudbath, so anything better than those two is a win in my eyes.

Just got back from latitude which was like being in a  middle class mad max film, the dust was extreme, no dust and no mud would be perfect.

Accuweather, the site used by lots of walkers and climbers so pretty reliable, saying that same rules as for all, if it is outside of 48 hours it is likely to be guff!

I use Metoffice most of the time, and it's fairly accurate but only goes to 7 days. Reporting 22 and dry for Thursday
