OFWGKTA
i can see us getting a few from the Mad Cool announcement, hopefully H.E.R as she’d be a brilliant addition to the Beni line up, Himalayas and SG Lewis too if im lucky

Davidoff
He is playing Sheffield the same weekend as Benni, what are the chances off anyone coming from there

Differ16
Have we ruled out vampire weekend and chemical brothers (also from mad cool) ?
OFWGKTA
vampire weekend are a possibility, their US tour doesn’t start until late july so they’d have time to play beni whilst they’re still over here chems are in denmark on the thursday so can’t see them being in spain the weekend before, going to denmark and then travelling back
young_contra
I have only known about this festival ever since I got back to this website this year so bear with me, but, why is everyone here so sure there are big-medium names yet to be announced? According to what I assume is this festival's size I'd say that the lineup is pretty much done

According to what I assume is this festival's size I'd say that the lineup is pretty much done this festival is a very big puller for well known acts, just look at any previous year, it’s a weaker line up this year so i’m sure there won’t be that many big names to come but the line up isn’t even close to being completed yet, still plenty more acts to be announced Edited April 10, 2019 by OFWGKTA
OFWGKTA
we have roughly about the same amount of names currently as on this poster last year, some big names that were announced after this were Chase & Status, Giggs, The Charlatans, Metronomy, The Horrors, Rag N Bone Man as well as a list of smaller well known british bands like The Magic Gang and Pale Waves so there will still be plenty of good additions to be added in the next announcements

OFWGKTA
new additions to the Mad Cool line up for Wednesday welcome party: Bring Me The Horizon, Rosalía, Lykke Li, The Cat Empire, Metronomy, Don Broco, The Amazons, Griz, Viagra Boys, Whispering Sons, Blake, The Parrots, Anier, Fusa Nocta, FAVX would love for one or more of Bring Me, Broco and Amazon’s to play Beni but i’m not sure if them playing Mad Cool makes them more or less likely

Also wouldn't mind seeing Yonaka added from that lineup.

Davidoff
Amazons are playing Trnsmt as well and free the weekend of Beni so I think they could be there, a no bad addition. Throw in Ashcroft and Fender and what about the Kooks, Snow Patrol and the Wombats

TheFullShaboo
Going by last year we should still have one more lineup announcement before the day splits last year: 18 April - new names 9th May - day splits and new names I’m going for something this week. KH94
I'm sure Sam Fender is in Australia at Splendour around same time as FIB. Would love to see The Kooks again but I doubt it. The Amazon's would be a great addition, as would Miles Kane. Hoping for some good news this week. Fingers crossed.
Differ16
The academic would be nice to see as well, but looks like they're playing 2 shows in reland that weekend

Jonesy1
Don’t think they’ll announce the announcement this time. I’m guessing (hoping) they’ll just randomly drop it either tomorrow or Wednesday.
Dukey
There has to be something soon, it's strange how they leave it all so late.

OFWGKTA
touring schedules (according to songkick) of people on the TRNSMT line up and their likeliness: Stormzy: can’t see him accepting anything less than headline status at Beni now that he’s headlining Glastonbury, can’t see him returning for a late night slot either as he played that in 16 or 17 and has only grown since then Years & Years: playing in the UK on the 18th and then Kendal Calling on the 25th so don’t seem like a possibility AJ Tracey: European tour starts in April and looks like it ends in July with a few festival slots in England at TRNSMT and Wireless, big gap in his schedule between 12th July and 22nd August Fredo: just like AJ he has a big gap in his schedule between 12th July and 22nd August Amine: playing in the US that weekend Mabel: all of her shows before October are in the UK but she’s free the weekend of Beni Gus Dapperton: playing Melt! and Lolla Paris that weekend, can see him also playing Benicassim as Lolla is only a short distance away Example: not playing many shows this summer and none outside of the UK Mist: TRNSMT on the 12th and then Afro Nation in Portugal the first weekend of August, so could be a possibility Mahalia: playing Pori Jazz (Finland) and Melt! (Germany) that weekend, with her being in europe at the time she could make her way to spain for Beni Catfish: busy at Splendour In The Grass Bastille: they played last year but are in Benidorm the weekend after so could play Beni two years in a row like other bands have done in the past Sundara Karma: no shows currently between 13th July and 7th August (when they’re playing Switzerland) hopefully that gap could be filled with Beni The Snuts: playing Mad Cool the previous weekend The Hunna: european tour is in April/May and they have no shows outside of the UK this summer Steve Mason: no shows outside of the UK Jade Bird: playing Tramlines that weekend and her only shows outside of the UK this summer are in the US Snow Patrol: playing in Portugal on the 19th and Switzerland on the 21st can’t see them playing three nights in a row in three different countries The Kooks: playing Deichbrand Festival in Germany that weekend and then a festival in France on the 2nd August, they’re around the right place in europe at the time but played last year which like bastille theycould do again The Wombats: playing in Austria the first weekend of August and have no shows between then and 14th July so could be likely for Beni Tom Grennan: playing Latitude and Tramlines that weekend and then Blue Balls in Switzerland on the 26th July so seems unlikely that he’d play Latitude, Tramlines and Beni in one weekend The Amazon’s: just got announced for the Wednesday at Mad Cool making them very likely for Beni Circa Waves: playing Tramlines but no dates outside of the UK after then until October SWMRS: playing in Ukraine a few days before, could make their way back over to western europe for a show at Beni before they return to the US on 1st August Likely Additions: Rick Astley, Sigrid, Richard Ashcroft, IDLES, Miles Kane, Europa (Jax Jones + Martin Solveig), Keane, The Amazon’s, The Wombats, The Kooks, Bastille, The Snuts, Sundara Karma, Mahalia, Mist, Gus Dapperton, Bastille Unlikely Additions: Biffy, DMA’s, Lily Allen, Anne-Marie, Bastille, Picture This, Mystery Jets, The Coral, Garbage, Courteeners, Sigala, Noel G, SWMRS, Circa Waves, Tom Grennan, Snow Patrol, The Hunna, Stormzy, Years & Years, Example, Jade Bird, Steve Mason Ruled Out: James, KT Tunstall, Tom Walker, Madness, Dermot Kennedy, Cage The Elephant, Amine, Sam Fender, Catfish Edited April 16, 2019 by OFWGKTA
