The official wording regarding Run DMC cancellation sounds like a major fuck up by the festival organisers 

“It’s with regret that we are not able to host @OfficialRunDMC at this year’s event. We must hold our hands up, as a scheduling issue only picked up in the last week has left them unable to attend.”

This comes after Idris Elba and Super Hans  have also just disappeared from the line up. Has there been anyone else?

Who’s next? It better not be james or Libertines. Good job Pete Doherty is reliable!!

If it happens it happens, we had 1 year when my daughter was desperate to see Ella Eyre who cancelled at last minute (was announced on the day she was due to perform!) Rheannon was distraught so we walked around talking loudly with each other about Ella cancelling as she had the shits. We actually overheard a group of girls talking about it later!

Idris Elba disappears from an awful lot of the festivals he's initially announced for.

Craig Charles is currently standing in for Shaun Keaveny on 6Music. I wonder if that’ll impact on his slot tomorrow.

shouldn't think so, he's hardcore. He did Monday's show with no sleep after doing bluedot.

He came in by helicopter to make it last time he was on if I remember rightly!

I think it says more about Run DMC then KC. It's not like they double booked the headliner slot. Can't think why it would be the festival's fault unless it was something like they promised a helicopter to get them there or something? 

I was gutted a few years ago when Kodaline pulled out (for genuine reasons I recall) but was replaced with SFA. That was a good afternoon! 

RE: Craig Charles, he'll be finished be 9pm and could well be doing the 6Music thing from Salford. Not too bad a gig. (Not normally a fan, but enjoyed him this week!).
