Lester_Freamon
Does anyone have any recommendations for folk/Americana acts on the bill this year please? Some of my favourite EOTR performances have been those chilled-out, afternoon, more gentle/twee acts. Thanks.

Arguably slightly thinner on the ground this year so would recommend Jessica Pratt, Steve Gunn, Charlie Parr, Rozi Plain, Mark Mulcahy, and suggest Tyler Childers, William Tyler. I blow hot and cold on Israel Nash.
Tomos_
From the tracklist of the 2019 compilation, it looks like we've got a 'special guest' still to be announced: https://www.roughtrade.com/gb/music/various-end-of-the-road-2019?fbclid=IwAR0HymtQUt072AX-XRjAwln1i0hsfX_-mP9h6JRwGmdtNSNNpK67inb7iIw
shoebox
It's gonna be Ezra again, isn't it?

But the album release is on the Friday of EotR, and Simon Taffe is his manager, so it's set up perfectly for it.

I really enjoyed Ezra's set last year (especially the Smashing Pumpkins cover), but 3 times in 4 years is quite a lot... Would go down very well as always though! Sean1234321
I'm hoping for Deerhoof. Edit: Although their schedule seems to have filled up quite a lot since last time I checked Edited May 29, 2019 by Sean1234321

wolfamongwolves
Ezra again. It would be nice to have someone join us who perhaps as not played so often. Sure Ezra is great but 3 times in 4 years is a bit much .

SweepingTheNation
Famous last words but I doubt it'll be Furman, he's over for the last week in July and his US tour starts on 5th September.

Avon
How about, Cloudbusting is on Hounds of Love which might lead us to The Futureheads? Old friends of EOTR and back touring this year

Like, we've all posted about Wuthering Heights when we visit Yorkshire or posted about Babooshka when we've been out for a secret-from-the-wife dinner with that lady who sent the flirty letters..... Guy Incognito
Interestingly 6 Music also just referenced Cloudbusting on facebook, related to their interview with Lauren Laverne which is taking place tomorrow
SweepingTheNation
Hasn't the full Glastonbury line-up been announced? This is beginning to sound like the Green Man thread being convinced for months that Conor Oberst was headlining because they used the word "unearthed" in a tweet. bobbyperu
Day Splits were on the 5th of June last year so would be hoping for something this week. Maybe another half dozen final additions too? Noticed that E.B. The Younger (Eric from Midlake) was listed by Simon on Instagram at the time of the last announcement but wasn't in the actual annoucement itself. We also have the mystery of the TBC track on the CD. Comedy line up hasn't been announced yet though so wonder if that may be first and then the day splits?

Sean1234321
I'm praying to the lord that we get day/stage splits this week. I've been holding off listening to any of the headliners until I can see who they're clashing with on the garden stage.

jamesrfisher
Although on the Rough Trade website it has the release date as 14th June

So who's close enough to pop in for a look, if there's not a wider annoucement? I'd be happy with Pond too as I thought they were seriously fun in '17.
