2016 was an absolute freak occurrence.  It has to be very wet for a long time for those kinds of problems.  We'll be fine.

Just been out for a run through the fields. Despite heavy rain this week in South Devon, one dry day, and the ground is back to hard and dry, and the streams are already drying back up. 

I reckon the site will cope with a few more downpours just fine!

It's going to be warm and dry at the weekend so the rain this midweek is pretty much irrelevant. The Monday and Tuesday rain would be far more troubling.

The latest GFS model isn't horrid at all. (and it's what Gav's update is done with)

Wednesday 2011 we had at least 5mm of rain while traffic was getting on site - seemed to have no issue on the parking (wasn't much fun queueing). And that was on top of a pretty wet lead up to the fest. 

 

As you say, 2016 was pretty freakish in the two weeks before gates opened.

Mean of ensemble runs - air pressure shows low pressure not to far away.

This coming week. So yes I'd say operational run on gfs is horrid. Ensembles are less bleak but not ideal. Still along time to go in weather terms

Just posting what current models show. I have no wish for a 2007 which I was at or a 2016 mush. It just is what it is. Next model run due out at 22:00pm.

And the festival itself is COMPETELY DRY. That is not horrid.

This coming week is irrelevant as Thursday to Saturday is warm and sunny. Thus any midweek rain is neutralised.
