What's this like as a venue? How easy/hard is it to get to and from the city centre? I may go for the fri/Sat, since I'm planning to go to edinbrugh the week before for the festival, and may go straight from there to Glasgow!

Fairly easy by train. Drumbrek is a five minute walk from an entrance.

Gang of Youths supported Foos on a tour recently, I'd like to see to them in a lower spot on the bill.

Only been once and the crowd was okay. Selection of food/drink is about what you expect at these things.

How quick are tickets expected to sell out? Cause I'm going to Sziget next year with my pals and they are announcing more acts on Tuesday and I'm certain foos will be announced but want to make sure I see them. Will tickets sell out by Tuesday or should I buy a ticket incase they don't get announced ??

Not necessarily. It's usually spread out across about a week or so, they just seem to fit in acts whenever rather than have set days for it. It would make sense to have another one around then though, I reckon both days will sell much better than the last couple of years have as The Cure and Foo Fighters being on consecutive days probably makes it much more appealing as a double header for anyone not from Glasgow.

not necessarily - the dates can be scattered about quite randomly, they were last year.

That's why I'm going up. Fits into my edinbrugh festival plans as well, so I can go from edinbrugh and then back home from Glasgow

Got two tickets to The Cure, not realising they would be selling multiday tickets. Feel cheated now, and I doubt I can sell them anytime soon

I thought they’d be holding this announcement back until after their Hydro gig in January.

Surprised to see they’re pushing the £67 price tag for this one similar to The Cure and Foo Fighters. Their show at The Hydro in January has a top price of £35 and has two of the same support acts on the bill.

Fair play to DF - The Cure, Foos and 1975 is a very strong set of headliners. Good undercard for the 1975 gig - shame I don’t really like them personally.

Got tickets for the Foos so I'm looking forward to seeing the support bill announced. Good support bill for The 1975 but I don't like them so I'll give that day a miss.

We reckon that'll be the lot for Glasgow Summer Sessions next year with 3 gigs?

Dunno. Obviously they had 3 days of SS and 5 days of TRNSMT last year. If they’re doing 3 of TRNSMT this year, then maybe they’ll swap and have 5 for SS?
