The 1975 should not be headlining this. As said, they can't even sell 10,000+ tickets. How can they be expected to sell more than double that? Shite headliner.

They’ve sold out The Hydro twice now. I don’t think their day will sell out but I don’t see what’s wrong with them headlining.

dates are confirmed as Wednesday 7th to Sunday 18th August - tho not necessarily with a show every day (there wasn't last year).

I'd be expecting an announcement on Monday, as that's what they did for this years Glasgow Summer Sessions. Hopefully, it's better managed this time around & none of the nonsense that went down last year...

Few big names there this year. Think there's 8 nights I I remember correctly

I don't know when they're announcing exactly, but sometime before mid Feb. 

Yeah, certainly at least one big arena sized act.

Looking at who's around then and would the general size/style of artists they had last year, I'd guess at any 8 from KT Tunstall, Chic & Nile Rogers, Manic Street Preachers, Fratellis, Years & Years, Wolf Alice, Dizzee Rascal, Florence + The Machine, Circa Waves, Clean Bandit, James Bay, The Wombats.
