I wouldn't say less of a person, but it is a different experience.

As ive got older I quite enjoy not sleeping on the floor, not crawling into a tent, cold beer, a full English and a shower before setting off out for the day though

oOh and being able to bring loads of crap I don't have to carry in order to be prepared for every weather scenario

On our way home from another test run night away in the caravan and to try out the new awning. All good and believe tickets are waiting for us at home. So it's happy Friday!

Our tickets arrived this morning. I wasn't unduly concerned about them not being here but I realised that I was also very relieved when they arrived. It's just one less thing to worry about.

I’ve never been able to take my VW as her engine cracked on the way there in 2016 (20 minutes from site) had to get towed to Andover then back to Maidenhead then drive all the way back in my car! Officially it says there is no entry until 12pm on the Tuesday, but I know they've been forced to open up earlier to reduce the congestion building up the roads.

I shall keep an eye on twitter/here in the morning and try and get a decent spot nearish the front, then. Proper fluke my mate living where he does. Right next door to a petrol station and a decent size coop so can get all my perishables the morning of. Luxury!
