we are getting ONE band announced this month, which James claims is going to send the internet crazy (so it's gonna be a big reunion likely, probably Gallows or letlive or something at a guess)
he said the reason for that is that the 2000 Trees team isn't in control of that announcement, so likely a tour or something happening alongside the Trees set
and then we get a 45+ bands announcement on Feb 4th
Pilton stage competition winner will slot in somewhere .... ive seen china bears when they supported October drift and they were good , also a bad called Filta who are from Taunton they do mostly covers with a bit of a twist but with a few bits of own material .... not heard of neon nights , battery acid , land of the giants or Archy and the astronaughts . cant remember how many of these get festival slots or is it just the winner ?
I saw both Loyle Carner and Idles in the past two years and it definitely felt like Loyle Carner packed out WH more than idles. Idles on other stage wasn鈥檛 hugely busy. Obviously other is a much bigger stage though. I鈥檇 rather see Loyle carner pack out a smaller stage. I also accept that Loyle Carner seems to be going from strength to strength with his albums whereas idles have plateaued. I can鈥檛 remember what point I was trying to make
I totally concur.
Anyway, back to Glastonbury and rain. It's just not the best (at all) if it rains. It's the lack of ability to sit down / lie down anywhere you want that used to do my head in.
