Why do some people equate good live with deserving to headline?

plenty of bands are good live... it doesn’t mean they are headliners!

Pyramid 2017 was naff. Left after 20 minutes for Moderat. The other two times I've seen them they were fantastic. I'd like to see them close The Other at some point.

Always wondered if I made the right decision going to see Moderat, assuming that the Sheeran crowd forming would ruin any enjoyment to be had at Biffy. Glad to hear I probably made the right choice.

Moderat was absolutely fantastic, my decision to go there never again crossed my mind

Biffy headlining the other stage would be a good alternative to Kendrick, Taylor or whoever is on the pyramid. In all our time we’ve never seen more than one or two pyramid headliners, usually only one. This year saw the killers but did tame impala and Christine and the queens the other nights. Plenty alternatives all over the place, the beauty of Glastonbury

Christine and The Queens smashed it as well. Still gutted I missed Janelle Monae on WH though but the fact that Chris did such a good job helped.

At Reading 2010 during Biffy Clyro, something was thrown in the crowd that landed on me and burnt my shirt, arm and wristband. I can only assume it was some sort of acid...

I fully blame Biffy Clyro for this, and therefore do not wish for them or their acid throwing fans to have that coveted pyramid slot.

I really couldn't be arsed guiding anybody or making an actual plan for the Sunday so I did Shaggy > sat outside Bootleg Beatles > Biffy > Ed Sheeran which was err...

well its a lovely place and the sun was shining.

I love Biffy, but their early stuff is relatively naff.

edit: Courteeners are always somewhere south of naff
