Exactly that, I’ve said it over and over that the bigger acts are no longer interested in festivals as much as they can do their own tours on their own terms.     if they don’t promote the likes of Sam Fender and Maneskin then there won’t be enough headliners to go around 

Too soon for the former; doubt Damon would want a repeat of the latter.

That’s a lot of dates and seats. I would expect a few venues not to open all the top tiers. 

Yeah - I'm aware of the main reasons for them being discounted (albeit not the 'paid a lot for exclusivity' element).  Just spitballin' other potential names in the frame.

No chance of The Cure or Gorillaz doing it next year is there?
