Fairly normal at the festivals they did last year, but those were all arena based festivals with the store out in the campsite - so who knows if this will be any different.

From the replies to this it seems like we'll be getting actual bottles of mixer.

Fair enough, is it possible to nip off site to go to a local supermarket instead? Thinking of doing a stock up run on the Friday morning.

What do you need to stock up with? You cna buy pretty much anything you want on site.

This would come in handy, although surely selling big one use bottles of pop goes against the whole ‘no plastic’ thing this year. Is there a plastic alternative they plan on using? Or is the no plastic thing just a dead end before it’s even begun?

There are shuttle buses to Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet. If you are driving expect to get parked up miles away on return.

Not sure how to embed tweets but if you go into the tweet they say they're using 100% recyclable plastic of their own brand stuff.

Nice. The mixer situation seemed like it was gonna be a real pain this year if it was just cans available so this would be a real life saver, especially if the prices are kept reasonable.

Fingers crossed its all okay, would happily pay a couple quid for a 2 liter bottle of fizz, stock up a few on the first day, restock if need be.

Well as we’ve mentioned it is going to be a very demanding environment to work within, for example we are forecasting to sell 25,000 bottles of 2L Spring Water per festival – that is a lot of water to restock and also process through the tills!

Also implies it's 24-hour:

The store will be staffed 24 hours a day and we are forecasting over 10,000 customers every 24 hours,

I assume the 24 hour staffing is for security and restocking. This bit definitely suggests it will only be 7-3:

Could be different for Glastonbury of course.

Might have to do a bit of taste testing at my local coop for their own brand soft drinks and mixers then, at least be prepared for what I'm letting myself in for. I really just want to be able to buy a bottle of tonic if I run out, or a 500ml bottle of coke but latter sounds unlikely, can't ever remember seeing co-op own brand cola

From that page it looks like they treat their staff really well. Pity I don't work for them ?

'The store will be inside a bespoke marquee located within the campsite area at each of the festivals. It will be trading from 7am – 3am and will be staffed 24 hours and will have up to 18 tills in operation.'

No doubt they'll use the other four hours fully replenish the shelves.
