Tell us all some of the funny misheard lyrics you used to do. 

 

I thought for ages that Living Colour's "Cult of Personality" was "F*cked up personality" for a while when I heard it on GTA San Andreas. I then later thought it was "Coked up personality"

 

More recent example would be Little Mix's "Shout out to my Ex" I thought it went "Shout out to my ex, you really sh*t the bed"

but realised radio one probably wouldn't play it out like that.

You've reminded me of another of mine.

I thought it was Big Black Boobs.

I'd always thought "I want a Rolls Royce cos it's good for my voice" by T.Rex was the worst line ever, but I've just discovered a worse one....

"You've got the universe reclining in your hair" - also T.Rex. Obviously the master of very crap lines.

(it just got played on 6music, and jumped out at me).

I think we all had the universe reclining in our hair back then.

Not sure that is the most ridiculous of t rex's lyrics though.

I've not heard of Richard Herring, but he could be the bloke I was referring to. I say this because it was my ex girlfriend who told me about a bloke she knew mentioning it to her. She was very in with the 'in' comedian crowd, and actually went out with Rob Newman at the height of his fame. She also told me that Steve Coogan tried to get in her pants once (hasn't he every womans?).
