That would be me ?! Not always the best at making small talk with strangers so abit nervous and i will end up talking myself out of coming. Also will have to convince the wife to come along as we normally use wednesday to have a mooch about and given weve not been since 2015 i imagine quite a bit has changed on site that we will want to take it all in.

I remember one year when it was at the cider bus we had also arranged to meet friends there at the same time as the efests meet , anyway up rocks the group of friends, with a guy from work as well who I didn;t know was going..... for some reason , which was so so so  out of character I grabbed a sticker , wrote 'c&^*&(' on it (you can imagine) , and stuck it to his lapel .... my friends have never let me forget it , and thankfully he found it funny !!  I cannot be trusted with stickers and being giddy at the same time !

Small talk at the meet is easier than anywhere else in the world.

Just ask "Who are you looking forward to?", "Where have you camped?" or "How long did it take you to get in?" and take it from there.

I think I give plenty of opportunity for small talk ... so if you are unsure give me a shout ... I think i mostly only talked to Curly girl  last time but this time im a bit more active on the forum so will hope to chat to some others ...

there's one or two ales - depending what the fest has given them - and the normal range of fizz, plus a cocktail bar.

Will hopefully make it, usually at Mik Artistik on the bandstand at 6:30 and will then attempt to stagger over. In previous years my adult children have persuaded me "don't meet online people in real life", but this year I'll deffo try harder.

I'm definitely coming! Seems only right after winning the competition  And I've just seen there is a cocktail bar which will keep the girlfriend happy! I must admit I don't think I've been to Ridge and Furrow. Is it easy to find once in the cabaret field? 

As has been mentioned timekeeping isn't peoples strong points at the festival... what time does it normally go on until?
