If it is cans only, how do they sell big bottles of coke?

Was just about to post this!!

Sorry, I initially forgot about the plastic ban at Glasto... it's cans only there.  Big bottles available from Co-op at Download, Isle of Wight etc subject to a deposit.

No probs.

Coke tastes better out of a can anyway!!

Wilko do these also for cheap… kinda takes away from the reusable idea of them as they probably don’t last as long as the much more pricey ones.

just don’t make the absolute rookie mistake I did of mixing with mixer from the tent during the blazing 2019 afternoon heat, kept my mix scorching hot and absolutely undrinkable all night, so I guess the bottle did it’s job, just not the master plan I’d hoped 😂 (you only do it once,I’ll be buying hopefully cooler mixer in future…)

Ace.

Never ventured in there last time.

Did they sell booze as well?

There was always a massive queue in 2019 and I was pissed on the wednesday so I went to one of the ice cream vans and bought 10 500ml bottles of coke instead, it actually worked out better because a big bottle will go flat once you open it.

I can’t remember seeing bottles of Coke last year. It was cans only I think? If Co-op were doing bottles of Coke I’ll be annoyed as I was buying cans at £2.50 a pop.

We usually take 2 to 3 red wine pouches/boxes,

G&T cans

hip flasks of rum and ameretto, both nice for adding to late night coffee/hot choc.

I just saw the Travelman episode in Basque the other night where they apparently have red wine mixed with coke !! then I noticed it listed on here ..... I had no idea it was a thing.

It doesnt sound like a nice thing, but I'm intrigued !

As others have said I'm convinced last time the coop was cans only. They had a hard enough time keeping it stacked with the little cans everyone was buying.

Will be interesting to see if they've tried to make a dent on the single use plastic on the food items this year as they hadn't past time.

But is the Coop selling cans of beer? As far as I know they didn't...
