It’ll be painted this colour to make it blend into the horizon, they often paint the bottom half of wind turbines green, helps with planning.

I’m assuming the council get so much money from glasto they can pretty much get away with anything these days

It's going to be at Bluedot too and if it's anything like the earth they suspended from the trees last year, I can imagine it is amazing!! See said earth from last year below:

mate I work with down there who signs off most of the structures saying they were and that they will paint it to blend as they were sure the crane part would not be allowed and that would be stored onsite. He thought they may only allow the legs

The planning application is for 20m high structure.
