On a related note, it would be incredible if the BBC, as part of the 50th celebrations, opened their archives and just made everything they had available to watch online. They must have hundreds of sets from the last 20 years knocking about. Imagine being able to watch any of them.

A lot of the old BBC coverage is available online.

The whole of the 1998 coverage is on YouTube for example.

Thanks for the heads up. iPlayer is troublesome from Ireland. Even with VPN it keeps stopping and starting. Will be in England by then for some pre-fest fun, so will watch this for sure!
