NorthernSoul52
Even if those Newcastle gigs aren't insta-sellouts in the event on Friday, they'll clear full sales by the dates with ease - imagine a bump in interest when the arena dates conclude, and when the new record lands in February. Actually, when I think about it, the new record's arrival would be the perfect time to announce him as a Glastonbury headliner if it is indeed the case. NorthernSoul52
Standing gone at all three St James' Park shows but what appears to be ample seating for all of them remains in both pricing tiers too.

Where are you seeing this? When I busted looked on Ticketmaster and searched for seating on the Friday it says unable to allocate, and the Saturday link takes me straight to hospitality? I believe they are the main provider for the St James' Park shows.

The Clearest Blue
Got Sunday standing for myself, wife is a huge fan and suddenly not so sure he will be at Glastonbury so decided to go for it. Getting up to Newcastle from Bristol for it will be a pain though!

charlierc
Had a browse on SeeTickets. 2 of the 3 Newcastle shows are sold out, with standing on the Thursday SJP date gone and seats remaining. London Stadium, however, still has tickets available in all categories.
Badlands
He’s announced that all three nights are sold out, despite AXS still having seats to sell. Odd

Odd pretty normal to do so. My Chemical Romance did the same thing even with half of a stadium left to sell in Los Angeles.
NorthernSoul52
Saturday night looks to be a done deal - out on TM and SeeTickets. Still limited seats on the latter for the Thursday and both seating tiers on the latter for the Sunday. London has a ton left. No doubt it will sell out by next year - the album in February will trigger another wave of interest - but in the same week where Lana Del Rey has sold out two nights at Wembley on higher prices, I will admit that I am very surprised. Could be too that it might see demand begin to flow when the upcoming London O2 shows are been and gone. But yeah it was noteworthy that it was quite a bit slower and I'm not sure it can just be explained away as the demand clearly being enormous in his hometown given SF sold out 2 shows at the O2 easily enough. CantWaitForGlasto22
I think it’s a timing thing. I’m sure it will sell out but maybe after the O2 gigs. We’ve seen him at Glastonbury and twice since and have booked to see him at The 02. Even ignoring the fact we are waiting to see if he headlines Glastonbury, it’s a lot for people to book tickets for a second gig for the same album they haven’t been to the first one for. We’ll book the London Stadium show if he’s not at Glastonbury I think

He sold approximately 150,000 tickets in October for Arena dates. Then a month later has sold more than the same again for Stadiums. Don't think there's any doubt that all the shows will be sold out by the time they come around.

Certainly I doubt it'll be the case he turns up at London Stadium expecting to see a 70k+ crowd and instead there's about 7 people.
danbailey80
It's not Sam sitting in the pub pissed booking places for a laugh. I'm pretty sure these booking agents/ management people know a little about what size venues to book. All will sell out or be almost sold out. DomDom1984
Because of course mistakes are never made, even to the point that tours end up getting cancelled. Not that I think that'll happen here, but let's not pretend that the people booking these tours know all. They're guessing like the rest of us.
