Yes, it was totally rewarding and I loved it. They basically brought the full album show that they'd been performing at Meltdown Festival, over to Glastonbury. Granted, for fans who hadn't heard the new album it might have been baffling, but to me it was mesmerising - the lighting effects, Chris's vocals and his dancing!

I'd never heard the new album! It's been on regular rotation since getting back though 🙂

I guess any folks expecting the magic marker song might have been disappointed.

An absolute must-watch on catch up. I knew it would be amazing but (a) I had other commitments, (b) I saw him at the 6 Music festival and (c) I had a sneaking suspicion it might be less easy to get into in a festival crowd. He's one of the most incredible performers around at the moment.

I really enjoyed it although the late start meant my legs and feet were feeling the pace and had to move outside half way through for respite on my stool!

I only really know one song (Tilted) which I'm pretty sure didn't get an outing.

Enjoyed it.  Fantastic voice and range which I hadn't particularly appreciated beforehand.  Bit theatrical interesting watch.

Didn't get a very good view at the time,  but have watched the set on the TV and thought it was one of the best performances I've seen. Certainly hit the spot for me anyway.

I have to confess that I struggled to get into it and did leave about halfway through to do something else. That's on me rather than on him though - I hadn't given the new stuff a listen beforehand (was only familiar with the big two albums) and it turned out the set wasn't quite what I was after at that time. On another day and time, probably sober, I could have been bowled over by it.

+1. This was my exact experience, left halfway to have a wander through the Woods before meeting up with my Guns n Roses friends. Fully appreciated the art, but just didn't get into it. I've watched it back on iPlayer now and in its entirety I definitely appreciated it more this time round. Still made the right decision at the time though.

I'm slowly getting through the latest album, kind of listening repeatedly to the tracks that stand out to me rather than listening from start to finish. Flowery days, I met an angel, True love, To be honest, I feel like an angel.

But does anyone else find these Madonna features unlistenable?
