After 8 weeks of rehab and strength work, ankle is feeling loads better.

First run since early March happening tonight.

5-10 mins easy as fook.

Fingers crossed this is the start of the road to the Manchester marathon.

Awesome. Will definitely have a listen. What’s your connection to John? Are you an ultra runner yourself? I’ve become pretty obsessed with ultra running since lockdown and have my first one in November later this year.

Thanks! It’s Wendover Woods 50.  I thought it might be a good idea to do my first with Centurion as I had heard they organise their events really well.  It’s fairly local to me as well.  Hoping to do Lakeland 50 and/or NDW 50 next year.

maybe swimming might be a gentle way of starting ? I find it good with my various aches and pains
