There used to be a stage called The Croft I believe. However I remember there were initially one or two bands incorrectly listed on the website as The Croft last year too.

Line up wise, those headliners are far and away the best they've had and there are a few other brilliant bookings on there. I can't see this going ahead in the usual weekend... But hopefully they can get it rescheduled with a similar line up.

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like this that much

Still Black Peaks, Fresh and Leeched are decent additions for me but nothing I'd get overly excited about. Interesting to see that Knocked Loose are still on the poster

Nah I'm right there with you, very meh in my opinion. For me at least last year was so stacked with the likes or Turnstile, Gouge Away, Drug Church, Single Mothers, ETID, Angel Dust ect ect. This year in terms of hardcore or even like post/metalcore there isn't much.  And the one band I'd be the most excited to see (Knocked Loose) is most likely not playing so......

Day tickets are, roughly

Damn, I know it's 4 years ago I went but it was like £40/45 maybe a ticket and I guess capacity has doubled they are booking a bigger act now. JEW and AFI wouldn't play lower than 5th at Reading for example, probably 4th and a Trees headliner back then would have been a 6th down main stage band max I think.

Yeah headliners at Trees really ought to be 4th/5th down at Reading size. Probably leaning towards the top end of that with the price increases, start aiming for 3rd downs too (Frank Carter for example doesn't seem out of reach for Trees).

Since when were tickets to 2000 Trees for £75

The first year i went to 2000 Trees, it was £66 for the weekend. The lineup is obviously completely different now, which I know has to be reflected in the price, but the lineup is not good enough to warrant the price increase in my opinion. same filler bands year in year out, a couple of decent bands headlining the cave, a few bigger bands on the main stage and then relatively average size headliners.

That Thrice show in London (which was co-headlining with Refused), was downgraded from Brixton, to Shepherds Bush and they are supposed to be closing out the festival, nah.
