It seems a little early to start a thread for next year's festival with this one just coming to a close. However, the official Twitter / Facebook have announced the title and dates for next year!

Snoop has a new album out, Korn are releasing singles.

They'd be great headliners next year.

I can't see Korn playing, Download will grab them due to having the small selection of bands on rotate and not having played there for a few years.

I'm just gonna name names but I can see Babymetal, Frank Carter, Frank Turner and IDLES headlining the Town Centre. I don't think Wu Tang, Royksopp, Robyn, Knife Party & Dizzee Rascal have ever played Boomtown before, I could see them as Lions Den headliners.

Lizzo was in the frame for this year, so would imagine they’ll try for her again, although I imagine the price will have gone up after the summer she’s having.

I'd be beyond delighted with Frank Carter, IDLES, Korn and Lizzo @jump and @mr flow! RUN DMC maybe?

I wonder how high the organisers aim is? Especially with the increased capacity.

I think I'm not going to be able to go next year but am still going to board the hype train just in case! I'll be following for the sake of the story development at the very least.

Most of that heavier music suggestions sound great. Already have FOMO

Town Centre: Idles, Death Grips, Rob Zombie

Earache: Fat White Family, Amyl and the snifflers, fontaines DC, Parquet Courts, HMLTD, Pigs

Lions Den: The Flaming Lips,  Chemical Brothers, Janelle Monae

Relic: Andy C, Macky Gee, Dimension

Nucleus: Carl Cox (again he's that fucking good)

Plus can we have some weird dance stuff from like ten years ago something along the lines of The Cheeky Girls or The Venga Boys
