New to bloodstock

I have always gone to download, sonisphere, reading and Knebworth over the years but am defo gunna give bloodstock a try next year I saw on their website about not being able to bring camping chairs into the arena at certain times as I am knocking on a bit I need a sit down every now and then??? I wonder if any of u fellow metalers can let me know about the situation with chairs in the arena

Chairs are fine but they have to be in an area at the back and sides. It's not marked I don't think but it's common sense and quite obvious. You'll get trampled if you are too close  It's about the same distance as the sound desk so you'll get a good view and not far from the bar. It's a much smaller, friendlier , more chilled out festival so nothing to worry about.
