I think it will be cancelled, not postponed, just because there's no evidence the situation will be any better in September.

Let's hope they can secure some of this year's line up for next year.

I agree.

hopefully, Shame need to play eventually!

Hope they do the same thing as ynot. I’ll probably let my ticket roll over to next year. Already got early entry but I’ll happily accept VIP and free parking, plus it’ll mean I deffo have a fest next year and don’t have to worry about paying for it.

Yeah I'm also hoping they do the same. If vip includes free showers then I'm absolutely there! Already have early entry and parking. But glad it will be one guaranteed festival that I don't have to pay for.

I just hope that some of the lineup holds because I was really looking forward to seeing a few small bands like Chappaqua Wrestling there.

Oh definitely, crazy how many good up and coming bands were on the lineup. Should’ve known it was too good to be true haha. Hope they keep as many on the bill as they can for sure

Wonder why they are taking so long - isn't Truck the same organisers as Y Not/Tramlines?

When Truck/Tramlines/Boardmasters/etc were sold about year ago, Y Not wasn't included and subsequently went independent.

The last phase begins on August 10th

Pubs, bars, nightclubs and casinos will reopen where social distancing and cleaning can be complied with. Festivals and other cultural gatherings may be held but with restricted numbers.

This is Ireland - guess there could be a very slim chance of this festival surviving as it's not a massive capacity. But then I guess all the bands cancelling tours will be a decisive factor too regardless of the government allowing it

It means cancellation announcement incoming. @JBarbour is very in the know and similar comments in the tramlines and Kendall thread combined with standon’s cancellation this afternoon means that a truck cancellation is imminent

Thank you!

Was only a question of ‘when’ not ‘if’ I suppose.

See you all in 2021 I guess. I'm rolling mine over so I definitely have this paid for and don't have to worry about not having any fests at all next year. Shame they're not offering the upgrade to VIP for rolling over like Ynot, I imagine Ynot have done that due to poorer ticket sales therefore more room to allow everyone to be VIP? Truck were quite close to a sellout iirc.

Gutted as can't make the dates next year. Time for a new plan....

Me neither! They’ve moved it so it’s the last week of the school year, rather than the first week of the summer holidays where I am!

Gutted, there’s always the year after I suppose

We're now debating Truck assuming the line up is alright. I know we will enjoy the indie oriented stuff but what is the nightlife like?

There’s drum n bass stuff on after the headliners every night (the ‘palm city’ section on previous lineups) which is the main thing but there’s also a silent disco and then some of the bands might do a DJ set in a smaller tent
