Hoping Goldfrapp are one of the afterdark sets! Little Dragon are probably gonna be the Thursday headliner, right?
SweepingTheNation
Some very good stuff in the small print but it feels these days like GM and EOTR swap year by year on who has the best headliners and EOTR comfortably won this year.

Nonetheless is solid.
the wonderwhy
Pretty decent. Headliners are underwhelming but I think thats just because they've been blatantly obvious for ages we just didn't want to believe it Nobody on there screaming out After Dark? Little Dragon are terrible live so that's a bit of an annoying one...
Mezhyp1
Best festival line up of the summer so far for my quids worth
Aeroplane Over the Sea
Problem with doing the same festival year after year is that as much as I like a lot of what is on there, I’ve seen an awful lot of it at Green Man before, and some of it very recently

Obviously there's announcements still to come but him/them late with Parquet Courts, Ty Segall and Black Midi reads like a Far Out headline set. That said, I know they rarely share acts with anyone else but ArcTanGent the same weekend just announced Swans. I'd be surprised if Black Midi were a second stage headliner at this point but they could be a good shout for After Dark actually thinking about it. zahidf
It's fine but EOTR is better IMO. Not a line up to make me want to go all the way to green man
retromoz
Solid but unspectacular. Which, as Green Man is usually brillo, is a disappointment.
xxialac
GM lineup 6/10 (bit samey but good undercard) EOTR lineup 7.5/10 (better headliners and decent undercard) Good vibes and time to be had at both 10/
Gilgamesh69
I like it. But that's probably because I haven't been doing these fests for long so while it may seem samey to a lot of you, for me there's a lot of acts I've been wanting to see Still not 100% convinced though
Andeeroo
Think I've only ever listened to albums by 4 of the artists on the bill - Kiwanuka, This Is The Kit, Sudan Archives and LUMP - so I've got a lot of discovering to do. Starting with Little Dragon this morning. Edited January 29, 2020 by Andeeroo

And Little Dragon above Goldfrapp??
lessthanwill1
Annoyingly I have a very busy day at work today. Thoughts to come later plus the prediction game winner and playlist!
rug568
End of the road blows it out the water for me. Top two lines very disappointing, but the undercard is decent. I'll still have a fantastic time if I only see one act so not too bothered

I can see why people may seem disappointed as they are names I've seen on a lot of lineups over the years. Forgot Goldfrapp, make that 5 of the acts I've listened to albums of. the wonderwhy
It's missing that 'wow'/comeback act - so for example Stereolab or Eels last year or Bright Eyes at EOTR. Hopefully someone like that is to come in the next announcement. Can anyone remember when it sold out last year?

If it was (and I'm not buying that whole cowboy hat emoji thing because that was posted before they started giving clues) it means that of the acts GM gave a definite clue about the highest placed is on the eighth line of the graphic. Dancers Stand Very Still
There's lots of acts there to draw me in, but it's not mind-blowing up top. Pretty solid announcement, I'd say. Excited to see lots of acts who'll be new to me live. Namely Michael Kiwanuka, Goldfrapp, Thundercat, Ty Segall, Nadine Shah, Moon Duo, The Murder Capital, Viagra Boys, Tropical Fuck Storm, John and I'm sure plenty of others I'm yet to discover. From lower down the undercard, I recommend Working Men's Club, Porridge Radio, Sinead O'Brien and Lazarus Kane. Looking again as I wrote that, it's damn strong already!
