Where did you see they're touring together?

Deftones is good. Confirms also what i was saying about madrid download being cancelled. So my chemical romance etc are available for mad cool.

I got more the feeling MCR were touring with Jimmy Eat World as they announced a show together in New-Zealand around Download Australia. At least I see MCR next year, even with which bands they're touring, I'd be happy! This Mad Cool Fest is not really for me, actually.

It's a lot of poop. The poster is going to look really strange. 

Although I like alt j and wolf Alice loads. Would have rathered they were at Primavera which I've bought tickets for.

So far, so bad on the Mad Cool poster. Looks like the weakest in at least 5 years.

Nice, and a perfect fit with some major acts to come next summer.

There has only been about  20 names so like 5 for each day, so much more to come including headliners

Yeah, bear in mind there's an extra day and an extra stage this year, there'll be a load more bands still to come.

Deftones do nothing for me but still a great addition, could be tempted to give them another try.

I am pretty sold on the festival so far. I promised my partner we will try and see Taylor Swift somewhere next year and its looking like a fantastic mix of pop and rock. If the My Chemical Romance rumor is true that would be fantastic! A few more announcements like the last couple of days would go down very well.

Not hard to see when it's just an opinion! I can't help but compare this poster to previous posters and on a comparative viewpoint there are proportionally far fewer bands I'd be interested in.

Of course this could change with subsequent announcements, hence 'so far'.

I think @yosoyyoberdi is trying to establish a fairly important distinction between one's subjective liking of the lineup and a significantly less subjective strength of the lineup, measured by popularity (and price, etc) of the acts.

Just because I don't like one lineup doesn't necessarily make it weak.

No idea. I got told they were doing Coachella, Lollapalooza US, Mad Cool, Rock Werchter -  the morning their reunion was announced.

My guess is the Australia and Japan shows needed to be announced now to sell the tickets - but Coachella probably has the priority to announce them first before Lolla.

Complete guesswork but maybe after their December show Euro dates will be announced? Their Euro dates are in June and July from what it seems.

The exact info I was told was that they were playing these festivals and NOT headlining. So maybe they are announcing their headlining shows first?
