At some point in the mid-to-late-2000's, it does look like indie did come to be interpreted as a synonym for alternative rock.

Been thinking about the last couple of headline slots. Assuming its Taylor, 21P/Billie Eilish (co headlining) as 2 day. Who's left for the other 2? Seems to look like All Points East is going with Arcade Fire and RHCP are getting announced for a fair few festivals now. Personally I think both would make for an extremely strong line up!

What is the source of those Arcade Fire playing APE rumours? I can't find anything in APE thread.

Edit: I've just found it and I wouldn't draw any conclusion based on this. Seems they were only in the initial stages of negotiation.

Yeah it goes back a few weeks just assuming if its true they will be about.
