Well yes. Yes they would. My point is not many suitable rock acts are even around, let alone booked. Even the Strokes rumours are more or less guesswork.

if there is no other announcement today i still think there will be more bands soon (probably this week) as they haven't put the tickets on sale yet.

I don‘t know about last year, but in 2017 tickets wen‘t on sale in December. After 3-4 weeks of annoucements.

Have to say I'm very tempted with this now Tay, Billie and Pixies have been announced. Three cracking names already. Not sure I can justify doing MC and Glastonbury two years in a row, mind you. Taylor at Mad Cool in the glorious heat, and with how easy it was to get to the front, would be amazing.

Was hoping there would be more rock bands instead of the pop stars. No doubt all the teeny boppers will sell it out! Pixies also announced gig in the big top in Galway on July 17th as part of the arts fest, only up the road from me here, and they only played Dublin a month ago.

160 euros for a 4 day ticket isn't too shabby.

Tickets on sale December 1st, so surely some more announcements before then.

So tickets December 1st think it's  roughly 160 Euro for four days. They said on FB comments more acts before then. Also they said there will be more rock.

The 3 and 4 day pass prices are for the first 15.000 tickets sold, it wil go up after that.

They also guaranteed that everyone who paid for wristband shipping and then subsequently never received them would be reimbursed on the shipping fee. I'm still waiting for mine from 2018.

To me, it suggests an entirely (unlike the xx and Beach House) female-led band - 'they' and then 'she'. London Grammar is the first act that should be about next year that springs to mind from those words.
