British Summer Time 2020

Kings of Leon or Foo Fighters would fit the bill and I think would sell well.

Although, they might be deemed to compete on ticket sales with Pearl Jam but saying that the older crowd that tends to go to BST days dont seem to be put off by high prices or attending multiple similar dates. BST do seem to know  how to maximise ticket sales and get big crowds in.

Peeps in the wireless chat seem to think Kendrick could headline. Some are saying he is more likely for BST. Id rather him be at BST tbh.

Its been heavily rumoured for a while that Kendrick is playing Glastonbury and BST this summer.

Last currently booked show is on June 20th in Lyon. Depends if people think they will play more shows up to this one.

If they are playing shows in Europe even as late as early August as is rumoured plus a UK date surely to be added at some point, I wouldn't be surprised to see it be them to be honest. 16 years after their three Hyde Park shows.

It's possible, he's done it before and Taylor Swift is doing it too so why not. Probably just has to be announced for Glastonbury first.

Has been a while since their last UK dates tbf - setlist.fm says last run was a December 2016 arena tour. So I imagine there'll be one coming up, especially given the return of Frusciante. If the rumour is August, I wouldn't be surprised if that took the form of Reading/Leeds.

Maybe as Foo Fighters are touring Europe that they could be an outside shout for this. Presumably in the next 6 weeks at most there'll be announcements forthcoming.

From people who've been. How long are the headline sets. Could Pearl Jam be 2hrs+? Ta

Aren't BST basically whatever an artist would usually do?

Yep, in most cases it's basically equivalent to an artists own show. Expect more greatest hits, though.

The exception that I experienced was Phil Collins, who cut out quite a few tracks from his standard setlist.

Pearl Jam sold out

I'm not surprised, they are a big draw and with Pixies as support. Plus BST always have a decent undercard. The Cure lineup the other year really put many a festivals line up to shame.

I would certainly have bought a ticket if it did not clash with Mad Cool.

I saw Vedder last year at Firenze Rocks and he was excellent, I imagine with the full band it will be something special. I am sure it will be one of the highlights of the London concert scene this year.
