The gap is big, yeah, but a lot of acts do seem to split their European commitments, so its not necessarily a deal breaker yet.

Brave Sir Robin
My guy gave me a name for this last night but it didn't sound like it's finalised, and it's an act at present being advertised as an exclusive elsewhere. Certainly something different to the others if it comes off.

y0ungtitan
After suggesting it in the APE thread and being told by Neil he was a Creamfields exclusive - Deadmau5? No idea if he's actually big enough or popular enough in the UK but would definitely be different.

It would be different but I'm pretty unconvinced he's big enough to be a solo headliner for this thingamy.
atomised
Is it something being announced soon or is there a delay because of the exclusivity
stereodista
From Timeout, via the APE thread: Duran Duran headlining with Gwen Stefani and Nile Rodgers & CHIC in support. July 12th.

Gonna assume this wasn’t their first choice considering Duran Duran were supposed to be an exclusive at IOW, unless it’s just the ol’ bollocks exclusive claim that often happens. I'm sure i saw something.

Gilgamesh69
Saw Roger Waters and The Cure at Hyde Parkwith my dad in 2018. Great fun. Also saw Pet Shop Boys at Hyde Park with him last year . Think I might get him tickets for Duran Duran too. My nan's just passed away so think it could be a nice way to cheer him up
John L
Duran Duran, Stefani and Chic looks good if you are into that sort of thing. Not sure I’d be overly impressed if I was a “Durannie” who had paid out plenty to see them on IoW to now find them playing a London Day Festival

atomised
Gutted though. I was going to guess on duran duran last night when the exclusive elsewhere was mentioned
dabber7
Pearl Jam have cancelled the first half of their world tour due to the Coronavirus. Just the American dates gone so far but I guess at this stage, it'd be a bit naive to think that Europe might not suffer the same fate. atomised
Naive yes but obviously not a decision they feel they can make just yet
