The Glastonbury 50 book reviews

I’ve blitzed through it, think I’m on page 150ish - just a few pages after 1994. Can’t put it down, such a fantastic book.

I made myself stop just before the football as I didn’t want to read it all in 1 night. My god would it have been easy to carry on reading, though. Genuinely fantastic.

Mine will hopefully be in my hands by tomorrow afternoon.

A couple of questions as I just can't wait:

Is it a hardback?

What's the ratio of text vs pictures?

Do we think it has been "signed" signed or auto signed?

Hardback book

About the same as a festival programme

Not auto signed going by signatures I've seen on pics shown on here, normal slight variances

Thanks. I said a couple and it turned into three.

If that's the case I'd love to know how many copies they had to sign.

The Eavii's wrists must be aching like buggery.

The good news!  Mine is on its way?

the bad news,  won’t get to read it for 56days?

now I regret hinting to my son that it would be a great Xmas present for me !

On the plus side it’ll be sweet for you both to be counting down to Christmas together.

Mines at home, but I’m in America for 2 weeks so there it will remain unread.

Quite a good shout putting it down for that :) ...

They are definitely hand signed. Emily's sig on mine is not like one I have seen on here... plus it's really dark compared to others I have seen - as if she'd just picked up a new pen.

Michael's signatures seem remarkably consistent, whereas Emily is all over the place (What does that say of their characters?)

And it's off to The Post Office I go...

Failed delivery notice. Check.

ID. Check.

Hat on 'cause I can't be arsed to do my hair. Check.

Glad said PO is just down the road.

That is why I selected ' click and collect ' as my local post office is 50 feet away - 50% don't even ask me for a ID in that post office - saves me from missing the Postman - My book is not due until this weekend.Have a good read.

Carrier bag? Completely forgotten. I never leave the house without one generally ffs.

Well heavy and packaged like it came from Amazon rather than Waterstones.

Ooh it's like a christmas parcel.

Any tried the audiobook version? Wonder who’s reading it?

I think there may be a few different readers just as there are a few different writers. I know Lauren Laverne has written a chapter and she said she voiced part of the audiobook.
