Keeping within the framework of music, is the bear a necessity? I'll get me Canadian Mountie Jacket. I'll have a listen to that music later, when I have more time to do so, I'd say that it's the combination of certain known facts and an element of je ne sais quoi, that makes a great live act To my minds eye, the known facts would be the strength of the lyrics, the skills of the musicians, and the passion that both the singer(s) and the musicians are able to display - all in the correct sequence, and at the appropriate times. Then again, it's a well known fact around these parts that my knowledge of music is wholly inadequate. That said, I shall defend this notion by offering up my very favourite live act performance (although, somewhat contradictorily, I only ever experienced it via it's recorded version. Does that actually make any sense?), which is as follows;
