My partner has bought weekend tickets as a birthday treat. So keen to see who will be on the other days. It would be great if one of the bands already mentioned like Biffy or Foals did play. I guess I will just have to wait until the new year and hope for the best.

I think thats a big enough break for the Manics. I don't think that I have seen anythig about them playing anywhere else at the moment but its early days for announcements at the moment across the board. If they start appearing on other lineups then I think you could be right. Ashcroft is not  a bad call either but again I have not seen him on other festival lineups. Both  are about the right size and profile,  so if they are out and about then one of them may be in with a shout.

Yes, I think they sent out the notice to everyone on their distibution list. I just assumed it would take them ages to vet and sign some local acts, so I was not expecting any major announcements for a while.

I'm not really sure when to expect any more announcements. Hopefully, soon but doubt it.

I can't see much value in announcing anything before the end of the month as most people are skint and less likely to rush and buy tickets.

What do you think of Tom Walker for this? He is out and about doing festivals this year, Neighbourhood, This is Tomorrow, Bingley Weekender and a few European festival dates. He seems the sort who would fit in here.

He does seem to fit the bill of being an undercard who appeals to the demographics that go to Victorious, and would probably get a decent-sized crowd at either Castle or Common Stage. Definitely a possibility.

Pleased with The Streets as I’m a fan. But are they a headliner? Headliner standard seems to be declining compared to The Prodigy & Noel Gallagher we’ve had previously.
