I dont think there was, The National had a tiny crowd, James Blake and London Grammar and Justice have their niche audiences but not enough to make people stay and weren't even on stages big enough to make that much of a difference. We ended up watching The Feeling.
It does seem like they booked the other stages for a massive headliner and got stuck.

These days it doesn't feel appropriate for old guys like me to be spreading a sense of hopelessness when it's the younger generations who'll be dealing with it long after i'm past caring. I'd rather be instilling optimism and a can-do spirit.
Yeah. I mean anyone who thought TLDP would clash with VW instead of Nelly Furtado would have been mad. Likewise anyone with KOL and Bloc Party.
Madness vs QOTSA is naturally very different options though I'd rather Michael being the Castle Headliner.
