If the 1975 don’t play this year then maybe them. If they play this year on the other stage then I doubt it.

From what I’ve told by “that guy” they are playing this year.

Probably not true or falls through though. They will want to headline outright imo they’ve done Sziget, R&L so...

Well then they should be off all the predictions.

George Ezra, Ariana Grande, Arctic Monkeys is my guess for now then.

Dude billies debut album is predicted to win every single category it’s nominated for at the Grammys. It’s also one of the best selling albums of the year. With one album she’s managed to sell out 4 nights at the O2 amongst other dates in the UK. What more does it take?

Another strong album. Stormzy is the typical counter point to this but he was a UK act who needed a boost. Billie is successful because of her industry connections and requires no help. She’s already been elevated once at Glastonbury. She’ll need another strong album before she’s offered a headline slot.

At this stage nobody knows who will be touring in 2021 or beyond so it feels a little pointless to make concrete predictions at this stage.

However I’m confident the following acts will headline on their next cycles, whenever that may be:

George Ezra, Fleetwood Mac, Arctic Monkeys, Gaga, The 1975 (if they’re not there this year),

For anyone whose brain is attached to their ears.

Look. The energy I’m taking in 2020 and the next decade is realising that I live in my own little bubble and echo chamber. What I consider good, or worthy, is not necessarily what the general public consider good or exciting.

I don’t find Ezra interesting at all, but he is clearly a very popular artist with a lot of people and the festival goes on by booking artists which people find exciting.

Look at how happy the crowd is. This is exactly the sort of headline booking Glastonbury should be making if they want to be loved for years to come.

Ive been spoilt with the selection of fantastic artists that I have been lucky to see — maybe we should now let a new generation see their heroes on the pyramid stage, no?

If Mumford & Sons can headline (& I personally thought they should, one of the biggest bands around at the time) so should Ezra.

It might look crap on the poster but tickets will have been sold out & the media would lap it up. He’ll be on the One Show saying how amazing Glastonbury is to perform at.

He’s no Ed Sheeran but another decent album with songs like Shotgun then I’m in.

Plus the other huge inevitable headliners would make it look less crap.

& The 1975, that’s just info from that guy in Bristol. They’ll headline one year I’m sure. Do a Stormzy maybe.
