It keeps me feeling young.

Sooner or later you’re going to have to admit that you’ve made yourself look a bit of an arse here.

Dismissing multiple people’s views based on age alone? Fine

Calling someone a knob? Fine (because he’s old, of course)

Suggesting Billie Eilish and George Ezra aren’t Glastonbury headliner material? Bang out of order, disgusting behaviour

I really didn’t think that a joke at the older generation would upset so many people.

I am really old but suggested Lizzo on here yesterday . What’s wrong with me, do I have to seek help, do I need confined to the acoustic tent until I stop listening to all this post 70s music?😉

Yeah, stay in the acoustic, or Glastonbury-on-Sea. The areas for over 30s everywhere else is for the younger, more musically sophisticated people. Of course us under 30s have a much better music taste as our brains are younger and we can judge music much better than you can. Something you have to face as you get even older.

You may as well stop attending Glastonbury and let the tickets go to younger people. You need to seek help now. Before it is too late.

1) It wasn't a joke, although you are trying now to pretend it was

2) "Older Generation" WTF?

3) I for one, am not remotely upset at all - just can't believe you are still persisting on digging this hole

Matt, If I had just came on this forum today for the first time and not seen any of your previous posts I would definitely think you were the "knob".  I know that is not the case but you really need to let this one go - not a good look 😘

Yes, but you are forgetting one thing, the older you get you just don’t give a shit what  anyone else thinks, something exemplified by a certain Mr Eavis😁

heh, it's the fact that i've been on here for ages and seen Matt pull shit like this time and time again that I think he's a complete knob.

at least he's STFU about constantly banging on about gammons and boomers though.

Don’t worry, there’ll be some other made up battle for him to fight next week.

4th album wasn’t released till later that year, they headlined it a few months before even Sex On Fire came out.

So they headlined on merit of their best work. I need to check what that set list would have been like as their first 3 albums are easily their finest.
