So Ireland have just banned all mass gathering over 5000 till 1st September. Will be interesting to see what will happen if the UK brings in a similar style ban for the festivals that are teetering around the 5000 mark. Im not sure what the official capacity is at Lost Village anyway but certainly when i first went back in 2016 it was around the 5k mark. From a financial stance, surely Lost Village would rather the festival go ahead albeit a scaled back version than cancelling the edition altogether. 

 

Appreciate theres a lot more to come into play when making a decision - emergency crews, artists, performers etc - but if the governments position is no events over 5000, then maybe a few of the smaller festivals may make whatever alterations they can to try and run their festivals this year?
