Jane Weaver, Penelope Isles (ooh, prog !), Fenne Lily, David TB (is he coming).  The more I look the more I get excited by everything underneath the headliners.

I really like Penelope Isles on record but must admit thought they were not very interesting playing live.

Never listened to their records but in a small Cambridge social club (NCI) just before Lockdown the sound was tight and springy and it just worked.

At this moment, eotr have still not opened twickets for resale ) I'm selling my ticket as can't/won't travel from Spain. they also haven't let anyone book the festival coach yet, no comedy stage announcements...the list goes on.

It's all getting a little late now for those wanting to plan their trip and who to see etc, it's usually all sorted way before now.

I have been in contact with Twickets as trying to set up an alert for when the tickets go on sale (i have a ticket but asking for a friend). App kept crashing every time i tried to save.

When they came back asking for some details so can look into crash they mentioned 'We are still waiting for the go-ahead to open resales for EOTR, but we anticipate it should be towards the end of the first week in August.'

Saw the Tweet about revised opening times as well; carpark 10am with gates at 11am....happy days

That is good, presumably know will take longer to get people through the gates having to show vaccination proof/LFR test results.

I won't be coming until lunchtime anyway as my son's first day back at school then home to pack and drive but hopefiully will mean queues have died down by the time i arrive!

I often hear this said but in reality glancing at a piece of paper/phone screen takes 2 seconds and shouldn’t add to the time to get in.

Would love the day splits. Fingers crossed still possible this week.

Scanning the QR code and waiting for the result to show up, plus in all likelihood an extra electronic temperature check before then, all adds up across 15,000 people, though.

I doubt we'll get day splits or any other lineup announcements this week because if they were ready to reveal them they'd have done so alongside this update.

I'll also be carrying my little card that has both jab details on it; hopefully this will do as proof considering some people don't have a smart phone.

If EOTR run it the same way as other festivals, then without a smartphone you'll need to either print off the PDF version, or request a letter is sent to you. Details at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-covid-pass

Surely they would need to cross reference the name on the app/pdf with your ticket name to make sure they weren't borrowing a screenshot of a friend's pass... Or write a program to do this (bit short notice). But maybe they are opening earlier to allow time for a longer checking in process 😞

I've got the ap on my iphone and the pdf file on there too; just thought if they're happy to look at the card it'd be quicker.

pretty certain the card won't be sufficient.

Not sure if they will check names on tickets as think they just have lead booker's name? Probably need some form of id to show the name on the covid certificate is you. EDIT just checked on the Latitude website, they are saying need to show NHS app or printed version, no mention of proving it's yours!

We should find out soon as, on checking my email junk box, have had an email about the coach tickets and opening up early, the email also states:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES

We're currently finalising plans for entry requirements at EOTR 2021, and we will be in touch with more info soon.

This is what's worrying me. It's ok for people in England - but the app isn't connecting to our NHS for that.

This is the advice from Green Man FAQs - https://www.greenman.net/information/faqs/ , I would expect EOTR to be similar.

WILL YOU NEED A VACCINE OR TEST TO ATTEND?
Yes - anyone over the age of 16 attending the festival will have to demonstrate they have received a negative NHS lateral flow test within 48hrs prior to their arrival, or demonstrate that they have received 2 vaccinations at least 14 days prior to their arrival.

All the above can be proved by using the NHS Covid Pass and we will be asking all attendees to use this as proof of entry. You can download it to your phone, or print out a paper copy (only works for vaccination status not test results).

If you cannot use the NHS Covid Pass we will also be accepting the following proofs.
• A text message, email, or screenshot from NHS Test and Trace showing a negative result within the last 48 hours.
• Proof of vaccination from Wales or Scotland. Those from Wales and Scotland can provide their vaccination records (i.e proof of vaccine in paper format, not your vaccine appointment card) to show they have had both doses.

Most festival announcements since the Green Man one have tightened up on the lateral flow time period, stating that it must be done on the day of travel prior to leaving for the festival. I think they view 48 hours as providing too much opportunity for socialising after the test is taken.

How does that work? I thought a Lateral Flow test was like a home pregnancy kit?
