Nah, I stand by it. Nowhere near as good as any of the singles off Future Nostalgia. No umph, no dynamics, same energy the whole way through. Sad!

Sounds like the more laid back cousin of Don’t Start Now to me, but I get the criticism - it’s no Physical or Levitating, that’s for sure, and I’m interested to see if it’s gonna be a smash hit or not*

*almost a given it’ll be a hit, but at the level of the FN singles I’m not sure

Nobody else thinks the song is just a bit "meh" then? My girlfriend and I just listened to it for the first time and we both came away with an "Oh okay" feeling... Like it's not bad, but it's just okay?

I just heard it for the first time and a little bit of bile came up. Truly awful tripe. Literally sounds like some woman singing over a Tame Impala backing track.

if this is the future of music then god help us all

It’s very Dua Lipa, nothing different (I don’t blame her as that’s what her fans like)

For me she’s an easy backup, not offensive, sure it’ll be a good party however she’s very easily skipped for something better

I thought it was just OK but nothing compared to what she has done.

It is very Tame Impala.

I'll be fascinated to see what the balance is for a headline set. It's the very pop thing to stack a setlist with your latest album at the expense of some big hits. (See: Taylor Swift, pre-The Eras Tour.)

That's probably why I see it as average, I'm not for Tame Impala at all.
