Surely video game development can all be done remotely?

Yeah, for sure. It's going pretty well at the moment. But recording VO is a challenge, as a lot of the talent don't have home recording studios. Some do, but others don't. Some studios use motion capture for the majority of their animation as well, which will currently be on hold.

As I said, much bigger fish to fry in the world, but it's certainly interesting how it's forcing some industries to operate differently and think of creative solutions to the problems they're facing.

Just been watching bits of Starmer’s debut at PMQs. Looks like a very strong start.

A meticulous lawyer v Johnson Is a matchup I’m happy with (whenever he comes back)

I thought he did well too. He’s a very good choose for Labour leader and I really hope he does well. He’s had a good start indeed.

He did very well. Has to be very careful at the moment that he doesn’t sound too combative and make sure that what he says in the national interest whilst calling out any government shortcomings. A delicate balance and I am sure once this is all over he will be a strong forensic debater who won’t be dissuaded by Boris's empty rhetoric and meaningless soundbites.

He’s a Prime Minister in waiting.

To the tune of the Transformers theme, I like to sing ‘Keir Starmer, Prime Minister in disguise’.

Yes I am very cool.

Not sure when this will all end but for now enjoying spending time with my 14 week old baby girl as furlough has worked out as extended paternity leave in a way.

This weather helps though doesn't it?

Same (enjoying spending time in the garden) my at home drinking has gone through the roof though. My justification is if it was raining I wouldn’t be drinking. We’re blessed with this weather so why not make the absolute most of it.

Ha I'm very similar. Cant believe how much beer I've got through these past few weeks. Sitting in the garden reading in the sun with a beer about this time has become a daily ritual now. Not complaining at all!

My only problem is sleep patterns - I'm going to bed and getting up later and later...

I have this stupid battle with myself, at the start of the week I try and set a day of the week (normally Thursday) to wait before I have a drink, because I feel like I’ll enjoy it more if I hold out. But then I go out into the garden in the beautiful weather, put a bit of music on and then just can’t resist having a drink.... and then I think why deny yourself, the weather is beautiful make the bloody most of it

So you think all doctors think like you do you?  Do you think all doctors are on the level? Would this include doctors like Harold Shipman? Did he put X, Y and Z down? Would it include one of my doctor best friends who stated that he said to himself about a patient ' Hurry up and die, I want to go to a rave'. You imply that all doctors are saints. I could personally introduce you to about 10 that don't quite fit your criteria. I could, of course, also introduce you to another 10 or so, that would.

Maybe you are right. Maybe I am. What's fairly evident to even the most feeble minded, surely, is that we are not getting the correct data. Data that one would hopefully and gladly give a child to produce, such are the so very simple mathematics, at any one point in time.

Oh, so some hospitals will be quicker at reporting their stats, will they?  The NHS should be a uniform system, and NOT a postcode lottery, in terms of information etc - but mostly in terms of care.

Don’t get arsey just because people don’t fall in line and accept everything you say as gospel. At no point did I suggest doctors are saints. Are you now saying it’s the doctors who are lying not the government? That was my point in my original post, who is lying in your opinion? The doctors filling out the forms? Or the government in compiling the data? Anyone can look at the guidelines given out by the government to doctors on how to report covid 19. Your post seemed to blame the government but you are now saying it’s the doctors.Which is it?

yes some hospitals are quicker at reporting deaths than others, that just a given, and anyone who thinks different doesn’t live in the real world. In the middle of a pandemic paperwork tends to take a back seat and take second fiddle to keeping people alive. In a perfect world the NHS wouldn’t be a postcode lottery but it is, unless you are going to throw stupid money at it, which no government ever has done, it’s never going to be the perfect utopia some people seem to expect.

as for you doctor friend who wanted a patient to die so he could go to a rave I’d suggest you need to take a look at yourself and ask why you are friends with such a person. Need to pick your friends a bit better.

Damn, Chris Whitty is good. He answers question in such a good manner. He’s been brilliant in all this.

He is a globally respected expert in epidemics, which makes you wonder why we aren’t in a better position in this country. He obviously isn’t being listened to.

I am trying to stick to my self imposed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are dry days.

Today is Wednesday, hurrah!

You’re probably right. The way he answers questions, comes across to me as a person that genuinely cares and wants the best. I feel safer with him on the TV.

Sorry I still don’t get it, are people criticising Chris Whitty and praising the General?
