Ok but what's your evidence to counter it?

It’s the same as it has been for years now. How are these polls conducted? They always seem to forget a large chunk of the population who wouldn’t tell a poll who they were voting for.

I also saw his approval rating starting to slip .... there is hope something good might emerge ....

Unlike over here where the Tories approval rating is up because they are doing such a cracking job!!

To be fair I think Trump's rating were up initially until it become blindingly obvious he was clueless. Reckon the Tories might see a dip once people fully digest and appreciate the obvious failures.

Spot on thread.

I prefer to focus on the current tactics and potential outcomes than blanket political point scoring. It's really not helpful and frankly is becoming a little boring. Personal opinion and all that...

Show me the numbers.

Supply is obviously there as they did over 100000 the other day, but only doing 70000 another day suggests a drop in demand. It’s mostly likely down to people not wanting to bother doing it on a weekend, but if supply is there and you don’t make targets then demand is the issue. If people want to be tested then the tests are there to be taken.

I don’t think she’s really doing that considering she’s gone back to working in her A&E ward at her hospital in this crises so knows first hand what some of the the problems are. Is that enough for her to be able to make comments or should NHS workers not say anything?

I believe if she has that first experience she should speak out as she’s uniquely qualified to speak on the matter.

the only did around 77k tests the other day,but made it up to 122k by sending a load out to people and including that in the count.

Not sure about Trump being a dead cert to win. His base are still very supportive, but he needs more than that to win. He won over votes last time because of his various promises and nationalism, and the fact the other candidate was a woman...but this time could be very different. Only problem is Biden is old and senile.

That and the fact that Biden has this allegation still about.

Yes but baring in mind we are effectively ahead of them on the curve it's worrying that so many people have been distracted by the Poor Boris he went to work sick and oh look he had a baby and not looked beyond it. The amount of people I have heard say noboy could have responded any better. I point to other countries and they somehow think we didn't have the chance to take a diiferent route even though we absolutely did.

...and creepy.  Some of his behaviour is really inappropriate

indeed, same with Trump though but he can probably get away with it because he's not a scumbag liberal.

Not sure all this stuff will be high up on people's agenda in a few months time when have both mass deaths and mass unemployment.
