Hidden at the back of the Stone Masons stall, officially called Rock Worx, I've also heard it nicknamed the Stonecutters/Stonemasons Arms.

Still slightly annoyed that it's gone as it was a great place to stop in occasionally especially after hours - I believe that it was a victim of people openly posting about it's existence on here which for an unauthorised bar is death. Have some discretion people..

Is the correct answer.

RIP The Stone Mason's Arms 😢

2004?

Yep, my first Glasto!

Ok, my question:

There's not normally much crossover between Glastonbury and Eurovision, but in which year did the UK's Eurovision entry also have a slot in the BBC Introducing tent?

2014 - Marmozets and Molly (who finished in 17th place in the Eurovision)

Ha, am I right in thinking you googled this? :)

I ask as from my googling (to find out more once it was answered!) it makes it look like Marmozets are a band and Molly is a singer and they didn't perform together - nor did Marmozets do Eurovision.

The only thing I can see that puts them together is this article which lists those playing on BBC Introducing:

Quote

Artists lining up to perform for BBC Introducing this year include George Ezra, Marmozets and Molly – who represented the United Kingdom at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

Did you know the second part ? Or is that thanks to google ? :)

I confess it was the Glories of Google.  I was there is 2014 but was too busy enjoying the lack of social distancing to follow either Eurovision or the BBC Introducing stage.

So my question.  I was in staying the CV Fields and just down the hill from us in his van was Mick Jagger's brother, also a musician.  What is his name and what Stones albums did he contribute to?

Wish, woah, woah, your question? It's still @Simsy's go.

Sorry, I'm confused - that's what lockdown does to you, mind you so does going to festivals.  Who's go is it now and who's question should we be answering?

Also are we not allowed to Google/research the answers to questions if we don't happen to know?

you could google the answer to Grupyhacks question ... and continue with that one :)

I haven't ever stayed in the CV Fields, but I hear that Mick Jagger's brother (also a musician) has. What is his name and what Stones albums did he contribute to?

We're not really supposed to be Googling unless the questioner allows it. It would make the quiz a bit easy if we could search for the answers. Personally I've not been Googling, unless I'm desperate to know, at which point I've considered myself our of the race. It is cheating really.

Having said that, you have thought of a question, waddya say @crazyfool1? You did say "avoid", which isn't quite an outright ban. You should probably be the adjudicator since you started the thread.

I don't think anyone is that bothered, I'm not sure if it came over badly, hard to tell on text sometimes. As you say, lockdown does get to you 🙂
